Carseland , Alberta .  Spray-Air Technologies Ltd. (Spray-Air) of Carseland , Alberta and Miller St. Nazianz (Miller) of St. Nazianz , Wisconsin are pleased to announce a new strategic business relationship. 

 

Under the terms of this new business agreement, Miller has agreed to purchase the technology rights and the manufacturing rights to Spray-Air’s agricultural sprayer products, including the patented Spray-Air Shear GuardTM PLUS Nozzle technology.

 

Spray-Air will continue to market and support the Spray-Air sprayer line to agricultural dealers in Western Canada . Spray-Air considers the sprayer manufacturing transition to Miller as not only seamless for their dealer network, but advantageous as well.

 

Randy Faulkner, President and CEO of Spray-Air predicts significant opportunities for both Spray-Air and Miller as a result of this new agreement. “We are very excited to have been able to establish a new business venture with Miller.  As a result of our sprayer now being manufactured by Miller, the Spray-Air product line will benefit from Miller’s quality Research & Development, manufacturing efficiencies, synergies with the existing Miller application products, and overall greater exposure through a larger, global distribution network and marketing reach.” 

 

Mr. Faulkner feels handling the entire Miller product line in Western Canada will greatly benefit all of Spray-Air’s dealers & customers. “This is an excellent opportunity for Spray-Air and our dealer network.  We are enthusiastic about continuing to market the Spray-Air pull-type sprayers.  We have a passion for this outstanding air application technology.  We are also pleased to be offering the remainder of the Miller product line of outstanding and very competitive self propelled field sprayers including the new Mechanical Drive sprayer (“MD”), the Center Ride floater chassis line, and the Miller hay and forage products.  We feel this comprehensive product offering will make our dealers very competitive.”

 

John C. Miller, President of Miller, feels there are great benefits to working closely with Spray-Air.  “With Spray-Air’s history and presence in Western Canada , with their dealer network and loyal customer following, we feel they will be able to fully capitalize on the merger of the air technology with our self propelled sprayers.  Their expertise in air technologies and spray boom development will help us refine and market our entire MAT products on a more technological basis.  We plan to offer the air technology on certain self propelled sprayer models in widths of up to 120 and possibly 132 feet wide.  This will put us in a very advantageous market position.”

 

Miller has a diversified application technologies product line.  Within the Miller Application Technologies (“MAT”) group are the MD mechanical drive sprayers (formerly the Raptor), the Nitro HD hydrostatic drive front boom sprayers, the CR Center Ride and Silver Wheels floater chassis, and the Miller Pro pull type field sprayers.  Miller also have an extensive hay and forage product line including the Miller Pro and Badger hay and forage wagons, dump wagons, rakes, forage blowers, and hay mergers.  They also own and manufacture the Ag-Bag silage bagging systems.  www.millerstn.com

 

Spray-Air will continue to manufacture the GrainMax Swing Away augers, and the snow/ice, and roadside application systems.  It will continue to operate the Material Handling Division that builds and maintains bulk fertilizer plants and sells fertilizer handling equipment.  Spray-Air will also continue it’s industrial manufacturing, custom fabrication and welding services from it’s Carseland , Alberta fabrication facility.
